You’ve selected a brand-new air conditioning system and you are ready to prepare for installation. So, what should you expect at the installation appointment?

First, there are some steps you can do ahead of time to assist with the installation process. Make sure the area where the air conditioning system will be situated is clear. This includes an open path so the installers don’t come across obstacles when carrying the equipment to the final spot. This includes clearing the space of any tools, toys, sticks and leaves.

If you have pets, make sure they are in a kennel, crate or located in a separate area to be sure it’s a safe environment for the technician and your pet.

One benefit of collaborating with Fire & Ice HVAC on your air conditioning installation is that our technicians will take the time to walk you through your new system. It’s recommended that you ask as many questions as you want while our technician installs your system. We realize how big of an investment this is and how critical the air conditioner is to your home comfort. Once the system is installed, the technician will conduct testing to make sure it’s running correctly. We’ll show you all the features of your new system and include recommendations on how to get the optimum efficiency.

While the technician will review the features, we suggest that you take the time to review the owner’s manual to become more familiar with your heating and cooling system. And place your manual in a safe place for future reference.

Our team is ready to help, whether you have questions about your air conditioner after installation is complete or you simply need to book routine maintenance to make sure it continues to run correctly–you can count on us.
